Problem Connecting with Mac

I am having some problems playing multiplayer in Civ6. I have a PC and he has a Mac, and while we both have the same version, 1.0.0.110, our version within the parentheses is different. We have no mods installed. When we try to connect the game says (understandebly) "Game version miss matched".

Does someone have a fix? I thought cross platform was implemented.

Cross Platform is still in the works I believe.

No xplatform yet. They've a promised it with the Mac version of the upcoming patch (probably out in mid April).
