Sup guys, I'm trying to install civ 4 on my windows 7-64. First of all, after the installation the program didn't run because of some .dll missings. So I've found those .dll and placed them at system32 and sysWow64.

Then, when trying to run civ4 it appears this error:

But the .dll file IS on civ's folder. What is causing this? How to solve?
    Thanks.

First off, there are permissions issues with installing on Win7 which could well be causing your problems, so have you looked at and followed the stickied thread in this forum about installing Civ 4 on windows 7/Vista? If not, do so, following that process avoids a lot of issues and the Bink Video codecs should be installed if you install properly. You must also make sure that you patch Civ 4 (instructions also in that thread) as patches often fix errors like this.

Otherwise I found this in the Civ 3 forum, but it contains some info possibly relevant to this problem.
