I haven't played this game very long but from what I can tell something is really wrong with my copy or something. I just cannot sign permanent alliances no matter what, i played 2 games all the way through and even after i discovered both techs for permanent alliances i couldn't sign one with anyone, even Persia who i had been great friends with all of one game. I experimented with advancing friends to the point where they could sign them, still wont work. I downloaded the most recent patch, still wont work. Am i doing something wrong, I know this is nothing compared to some other problems on this forum but any help would be greatly appreciated.
