Problem with Explorer

I have WinXP, but i use Netscape. The problem is that suddenly explorer pop-ups may appear. Like three or four of them. I have ad-aware removing bad stuff daily, i have a norton antivirus and a firewall, i don't know how it started. My relatives use the computer, perhaps they were using explorer and accepted some program i can't get rid off?!!? I'll try blocking explorer connection to internet with the firewall, or maybe there's a way to disable explorer.

ok, i have the title of the ie pop up, it says WhenUSearch
What is that, how can it be stopped?
It tries to install some clock, i always say no, and it closes.

Note that Opera will work also, just as good as Mozilla. I find Explorer to be dead useless

Now, who is going to tell me to stop advertising Mozilla? superslug, maybe?

you probably have adware that comes with P2P software like kazaa, imesh etc.

I solved the problem, told the firewall to block explorer, and to ask me about cookies, so when i see a cookie that's not needed i block it. No more problems.

All right, problem solved, then...

I thought it was Wondows Messanger, fi thats enabled then you'll probably get lots of spam windows popping up, here's how to disable it if you're running Win XP:
