I have Norton AntiVirus 2004, and I have a problem. I have noticed that whenever it finds and deltes a Virus or whatever, and gives you those litle popup screens informing you of that, it gives me a whole bunch of them, like 50, and I have to spend a lot of time just clicking "ok" to all of these.

Is there anyway to stop this, or does Norton do this to all users? Can anyone help?

I find it immensely annoying, and one would suffice, no?

Bumpity Bump.

Can anyone help me with this?

There should be an option to let NAV deal with viruses automatically. You'll need to tick the option that says "Repair silently" or something like that.

There is a display message option which is ticked by default on the file system real time protection menu.

I know someone else who gets about 50 viruses in one go... I wonder if this means that there is a virus on the system that NAV doesn't get rid of?

Hmm, I tried these suggestions, I shall see if I get another 50 Billion popups telling me about a virus the next time I crank up my computer as I got this morning. Clicking "Yes" to all those bloody things for 5 minutes solid is not the best way to start Monday morning.

Do you leave your computer on all night? You could just turn it off...

Actually I think I did, but I am not sure anymore.

I probably did, yes, I had some programs running, and closing them was just too much effort . . . but that should not make a difference, right?
