Problem with patches for PTW

Whatever patch i may use with PTW (1.14 of 1.27) the following happens.....

When i open the civilization3x.exe file the game does not find the ifc23.dll file.....

When i open the civilization3xd.exe file the game loads but in a screen with no menu options.....

No, I didn't "actually" bought the game. It is a homemade copy!!!

Here in Europe people have got tired of games sold in dvd cases with a 20 page manual for the price of 35-40 Euros. Especially where I live in Greece 90% of the games are "illegal" copies. And I am not ashamed of it.IN the US at least game companies show a little bit of respect towards their clients.

But are you sure that this is the reason for the problem I am experiencing???

Yes, I am sure this is exactly why you are experiencing problems. Your problem description matches known problems with pirated copies.

BTW, site policy here is zero-tolerance for piracy, so you will receive no help from us in solving those problems.
