Problems with cooperate beetween civ3 and winxp prof

Hi guys,

I've tried almost everything but still have problems with playing.
The main problem is during the game between different dates (depends on nationality) civ3 unexpectly stops work and I've a message from Win XP that system has problems with application and it will be close (screenshot as an attachment) As I wrote I've tried almost everything:
* service pack 1
* different ways of saving and loading a game (different settings, different titles)
* background processes
* video card (geforce 4/64) upgrade
* reinstallation
but nothing works.
Please give me an advice what I'm doing wrong

My system/game
* Civilization III PL
* 256 RAM
* video card (geforce 4/64)
* windows xp professional with sp1 installed

what game patch are you using?

P.S. can we get an English translation of that error screen?

Thank you for willing but I handled it.
The problem took place becouse of lack of correct patch.
After instalation everything works.
