You'll find Civ2Gold to be cheap whereever you find it. Try looking at Wal-mart and if there's a local Babbages nearby go there. Or you can buy it from civfanatics.com for cheap

Well, it must be close to the Armageddon. Lord, you know that I won’t fly by that lesson you taught me, to pull out my Wesson you brought me, and i’m not stressin’ it softly. Get ‘em up off me, ‘cause all we wanted harmony, been bombin’ ‘em. Yell up outta my ghetto, “I won’t settle,” get on my level.</FONT c>

I suggest buying Civ Gold.

A friend and I (both of us have computer science diplomas) wasted hours and hours of our life trying to get that stupid multiplayer patch to work. We never did.

The $40 we each paid for Civ Gold was well worth the money. It worked firs try and our stress levels went WAY down. Especially when you consider that we wasted all that "civ time" screwing around with that MP patch. We coulda just bought civ gold and have been PLAYING civ!

Yes it is definetly worth the purchase. I was at Gamestop the other day and they had a copy for $14.99. If you go to a Gamestop or Electronics Boutique they tend to have a copy hidden in the shelves. Or you could just download the necessary files

No, what you can (have to) do is wait for Civ III.
Electronic Boutique returned, Fry's returned, Best Buy returned.
I checked Game Stop, and there was between 0-9 copies in Dallas.
I've BEEN saying, better take care of that Civ II disk, friends.
