...if we have someone here on government pay posting for that purpose.

A interesting example about what is openly acknowledged about this kind of thing:
The US Air Force: Armed with social media

How far are state institutions doing "public relations" (propaganda) work on forums and blogs? Anyone knows of any admitted or well-known examples?

The Labour government doesn't have enough friends to get them working in numbers online. When they did have friends they just called a news conference.

The civil servants are impartial.

So, who here is from a terrorist cell? I suspect muslim fundies in our midst.

Just so you people know, everything you say here goes on your permanent record.

Ok, that's it. Carmen and HK are on the list. Expect a knock at the door.

@Ecofarm: You have just proven your records are completely outdated or my surveillance jammers are actually working. For one, I do not have a door. For two, I do not live under the jurisdiction of the United States or the United Nations. For three, I do not exist on public records.

It doesn't matter where you live, we can get you.

You do have (secret) records now.

How can you not have a door?

We could have it moved to Humor & Jokes, I guess... but not even the porn bailout thread made it there...
