Protest the TSA. Nov 24 is National Opt-Out Day.

I believe these searches are over the top, but, as a counterargument, nobody has the absolute right to fly on a plane.

You could privatize the airports, but what would be the legal argument for ejecting the TSA? In such a case, airlines that agree to use the airports might only be able to go to other private airports, since they did not receive TSA screening.

@ JR If this policy doesn't change, I plan to never fly again.

Revenue losses will have the airliners lobbying Congress so hard Roy Blunt's round little head will spin on his shoulders.

I don't want my naked body scanned by fat unemployable police-costumed retards, and I don't want to be groped by sex perverts and former criminals either.
You'd rather be groped and scanned by other people?

nobody has the absolute right to fly on a plane.

Government only works so long as the governed consent.

usually that means government can do whatever the heck they want unless they do something so terrible and so outrageous that many, many people get together to send a loud message of NO.

The last example of Daily Kos and Free Republic agreeing on something was that whole Arabs-running-our-ports thing.

So the security theater has taken on a naughty sexual element has it? Well this shall make my flights more entertaining. Mmm....hot. Can't wait to be searched by some manly men in uniform.

Body scanners DO NOT VIOLATE MY PRIVACY and neither do they violate anyone elses.

They are vague outlines of the human body, the same human bodies everyone else has. It is complete and utter nonsense anyone would care.

I want to fly on a plane just to protest these stupid protests.

You have more chance of the plane falling out of the sky cause the pilot was drunk or didn't get enough sleep than a terrorist trying to blow it up, and full body scanners or anything of that sort are nothing more than security theater to make people feel safe than to actually increase safety.

And It should be a capital offense to do this. Its sexual assault and should get you a public hanging, in full view of everyone.

If you love freedom, you should want these people in prison or dead.

I wonder what the US would be like if people like you were in charge...

I meant privatize EVERY AIRPORT IN THE STATE. If they want to ban flights to a state, then that's their prerogative. I still support it.

Free!;)

Between those who support this, and whatever position that Dommy holds...

Somewhere there is a reasonable answer.
