Pellakan demanded new polls so I'm posting the polls for all the cities that need orders for production soon(next5-8 turns)

Jeeze, who elected this guy. He doesn't even know how to spell the names of the cities in his province. ;)

I'd like a bit more information on this city. The screenshot provided doesn't show how big this city is, what its surrounding terrain looks like, how many units it's supporting, what its waist and corruption are, how many defenders it has, etc. Maybe you could post another screenshot that doesn't have the build options covering the city-view screen.

it's 1 oclock in the morning right now so I hope you forgive me any spelling errors i may make. On the topic of who elected me...........it was YOU! you, the people of the united fanatica empire....;)

ok. you expect a person who doesn't know how to spell a name of a city in his province to do a good job?;) well here is the screenshot, or you could have just downloaded the game and looked

I think a settler would be best from this city, as long as our caravan supply is good at the moment. It needs some terrain improvement, and isn't currently supporting a settler. Although it is size eight, I don't think we'd benefit much from building an aqueduct and allowing it to grow more, since the terrain isn't improved with roads we wouldn't get that much more trade and also it would lead to unhappiness.

Unfortunately, no. :( I don't have Civ2 with me here at college. However, next week I get to go home for Spring Break and I'll be able to install it on my laptop then. :goodjob:

Ok I just have to post this. Everyone want's a war with the Romans. We have one. We hardly have any offensive units!!

I vote for anything military!!!!

:lol::lol::rotfl:

I think that Potopolia has quite a small waist, allowing it to wear size 8 dresses!;)

I think that if we're going to make a serious attempt at invasion then we'll need both crusaders and pikemen to take cities and then consolidate our gains. I think I read somewhere that the Romans have not fully colonised the island we will be attacking and so maybe we will need some settlers in the near future, but we want to have a military presence to make them think twice about trying anything on with us. It would be an ideal next stage for expansion though. :goodjob:

Actually, only governors are supposed to get the game, just FYI.

On-topic: We have few militaty units and food caravans (or so I believe). We should build either one of those. We'll probably have to use trade caravans to rush copernicus at THDP. And we don't have a decent army to attack Rome. This is quite a dilemma.

I think that Potopolia has a settler nearby, and there are so many on the mainland that it'd be easy enough to send a few to this area. I don't think a settler is key.

While it COULD use an aqueduct, I agree that a caravan or military are better choices. While I would prefer to see more caravans about, SOMEONE will have to get a crusader up and going. We have two crusaders on the mainland, and with a third we can complete the invasion of Viroconium.

So, I say crusader and RUSH-BUILD it ASAP.

I agree with Kev. Rush-build a crusader, then build a caravan.

Btw, weren´t we supposed to send a settler here for a long, long time ago? Why has that not been done yet?

I don't know
It is not the governor's job but the presidents to move units.

IF there are already enough settlers on the mainland (and I tend to believe there are, though I don't know for sure), then another settler is not a high priority at the moment. I would vote for aqueduct, but the arguments for a Crusader are very compelling. We need that third Crusader and/or pikes to defend captured territory in Virconium, so I will vote for Crusader.

I was refering to a statement made by CornMaster in the beginning of his term that he would move a settler from Athenae to Potpolia. :)

Well I wasn't elected to a tailor position or something. The only thing I need to know how to spell is "vote". People who are elected are subject to a higher scrutiny. :scan:

Anyway, didn't we already have a bunch of polls last term on what to build to invade Rome with and where to build it? We don't want to be building that third crusader in two cities at the same time, and it might also be in the queue of another city already. And like I said before, I can't download the game to check for this myself. :(
