The UHV is a piece of cake except the third requirement, which requires eight industrial and global era technologies.
England almost always seems to have a huge tech lead when I start in the 600 AD scenario, which makes this especially hard.
How does one beat England to the industrial era techs? I conquered half of Europe and am at 90% for research and it still isn't enough. Do I need to use my great people to pop techs and hopefully have enough for the first UHV requirement?
