PS4 Pro freezing

Hi all! I’m new to Civ playing Civ 6 on PS4 Pro. I’m loving it but am having issues 180 turns in on a 4 player cpu game. The console is crashing 15 mins into my save consistently. FYI I’m definitely on the latest version of the game. Any help would be great as I don’t want to leave this brilliant game. It’s disheartening losing progress out of nowhere. Thanks!

Turn off unit animations and see if that helps.

I'm having the same problem. Ever since I downloaded NFP the game crashes roughly every 5 turns once I reach the future era.
