PTW is necessary ?

..if I install C3C ? Is it something in PTW which is not in C3C ? Except the multiplayer, of course .

No. The PTW disk had some web content on it, which you don't get with C3C, but you can download all the scenarios, etc. you want from the CFC Creation & Customisation section.

Conquests comes with the PTW core. If you don't have PTW on your system, it will be installed for you, fully patched.

C3C provides the MP function and some what better than PTW. You will be able to load any of the three versions after you install Conquest.

Not much reason to use C3 or PTW once you have C3C though.
