PTW or Conquest

Hi, I have civ 3 and am thinking about getting either ptw or conquest for christmas. Which is newer, conquest or ptw? Also, which do you think is better? In ptw, you can play multiplayer online. In conquests, it has improvements from civ 3. Can conwests be played online like ptw? Could someone please explain this for me. Thank you.

I have just verified on the box (it's written on it : french one ),before to buy conquest you have to check it on the box ...

Conquests is the new expansion pack. It includes the core game from PTW on the CD (and automatically installs it).You have improved multiplayer with Conquests, as well as many additions to the Single Player game.

If you buy PTW instead of Conquests, you are wasting your money, IMO.

The only content PTW had that Conquests might not were the scenarios and mods. However, most of those are available here at CFC, and in many cases, more recent/better versions.

Conquests alone tops PTW. Combined with obvious membership at CFC, and you're all hooked up!
