It seems there has been a domain name change of the e-mail notification mail adress.
From now on, will only the actual one be used?

I changed it back to the .com email address.

The mail filter did indeed hide the notifications...
Anyways, I'm going to allow both addresses.:)

I don't have any filters set up and haven't been getting instant email notifications for a long time now. Any ideas?
Change to a different email address. :)

I've been using my email account since I opened this account, and I've never had them blocked. Sometimes late, but never blocked.

Maybe it's just your ISP blocking them.

Have them check Telefragged, too. I remember TF saying something about some ISPs blocking Telefragged for some reason. Was a long time ago, so I don't remember when or what the fuss was about. I'm sure you could stroll through SF and find it after looking for a few minutes.

So far, i got this reply in the support newsgroup:

Welcome to the pending meltdown of email. I've run into the same thing.

I've recently run into this on a couple of sites. I was able to get the
IP address of the mail server that was attempting to connect to the
Frontiernet mail system, and found in both cases those IP addresses did
not have a reverse DNS set up. Refusing email from such sites I believe
is part of Frontiernet's spam-reduction policy.

If you can find the IP address of the mail server that would be
connecting to Frontiernet (maybe from the headers on the Hotmail email?)
you can plunk it into
http://www.dnsstuff.com/
at their "spam database lookup". That might tell you something.

<snip experiences>
----------------------------------------------------------

I did the lookup as suggested and found the IP address from the email header listed in one spam database.
