Question about Fellowship OTR

try to input he 2nd part of the scn. I think it was splitted into several parts each with it's own rules- and units- and events files. If you have reached Bree and the exlaimation mark says 'next batch' simply change the files to these of the second part use delevent on your savegame and load it again. Now you should be able to continue
I am not sure but I think there is an batch file wich upgrades the part automaticaly for example in the "cross and crescent" scenario there is such a file.

Long lives the Zar :king:

Quite right Nikolaj! ;)
As soon as you reach an exclamation mark with all your characters (or at least have them close by), save the game, quit and run the batch file selecting the next part of the scenario. You'll then be able to proceed with the adventure!

Glad to see people are still playing my old scens! :goodjob:
Bye for now!

It is customary to make a message pop up when its time to do the batch file. What if the player never bothered to check the unit name of the question mark? Hmmphh!

....anyway I will continue playing it as I have no choice
......it looks too nice.

It is customary to have a message pop up so you know that the batch file needs to be run... in fact, it would be silly not to have one... erm... that's why I put one in.
Honest... it's there. It start's off, "At last you arrive in Bree..." and ends, "To find out what happens next... ...save your game as 'Game1.sav'... ...run 'Fell.bat'..." etc.

Don't believe me? Check the events file... :)

Have fun! Thanks for the compliment on the gfx :)

BTW, I can't seem to find a thread to the FotR scenario...:hmm: I was playing Civ2 a while ago and saw Moria and decided to check if there were more of them here.

So we are back to square one. I know how its supposed to happen now (they way that is customary) and my problem is I can't get next to the question mark to kill it and make the message pop up. I must have screwed up somewhere cause the town and surrounding mountains completely block all access to the question mark.

In anycase, I suppose I can just bypass this and move onto stage II.

Hmmm... Intriguing... can't quite picture it. Could you put up a quick screen cap of the problem. I'd like to see how close you're getting and try to work out what it might be that's stopping you reaching the question mark.
...I'm worried that you might have a similar problem when you reach the next question mark.
