Two scenarios.
1) I keep a cruiser in town, fortified. Town square is built on grassland or plains. When it is attacked by any military unit (sea, land air), it is "cathed in port", which i have read, if i remember correctly, reduces defense by 50%?
So, defense 6 - 50% = 3 + fortify 50% = 4.5? Very unsure about this calculation, just throwing it out there.
2) I keep a cruiser in the ocean square next to a town, on sentry/sleep. It cannot be fortified, but will operate with normal defense numbers? Sentry/sleep does not reduce defense, because it supposedly "wakes up" when a unit is viewed by it?
So the defense of 6 will be used?
Bonus question:
3) I have noticed that in cities with cannon fortress, when a unit with 1 in firepower is attacked by ships, it suddenly gets 2 in firepower. I.e. ships take 2 damage each battle turn or dice roll. Anyone else noticed this?
