So I have a couple of questions about the spell Hellfire. I've tried to use it in .23c and in .25f. In both versions when I cast it using my patriarch or just a high priest of the veil it says it was cast but the hellfire never spawns. I've tried this both before and after a 70 AC count. It's almost like the priest is immediately destroying the hellfire.
I believe I have only tried casting it in my own burning sands (in flames) lands in .25f, but in .23c I cast it in both my lands and neutral and barbarian lands. In all cases the spell appears to cast fine, but then no Hellfire spawns. I know that there was zero hellfire on the map at a pre 70 AC (.25f)casting, and in cases of >70 AC I tried both next to a spawned hellfire and in places without any hellfire for 20 tiles (.23c huge map).
So can someone teach me how to properly use this spell and make it work?
