Question about the Koreans

Hi,

I've been interested in playing a round as the Koreans in which I actually start out on the Korean peninsula... I've been looking, but unbelievably, I can't track down one single map or scenario in which this seems to be supported.

Does anyone know of something I've missed?

I even tried making my own scenario using the old East Asia map as my base, but all of my map editors I found either (1) Were not compatible with Warlords and so couldn't even add the Koreans at all, or (2) Didn't support adding anything more than randomly-assigned starting points. (So, like, Koreans might start in Japan and vice-versa.)

So alternatively, if someone knows of a good map editor which is compatible with Warlords and which allows you to place specific civilization starting points, I'd love to hear about it.

This is an earth map, with all 24 warlord civs on, in the correct place.

I'm also hoping to find one that's just Central/Eastern asia... Maybe including Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Russians, Indians, maybe one or two others... Keeping it 8 players or under, in other words.

But definitely, what you posted looks much better than the other options I have so far.

Another thing you might want to try is this mod (Rhys and Fall of Civilzation)

This mod uses the same map, but loads you up when the civ started as a major nation, eg the English start in 820AD but the Eygptians start in 3000BC.
It basically a more realistic verison of Earth history.

Yeah, I've heard good things about it-- I downloaded it yesterday, but when I went to try it out, I saw there was no Korean option, so I skipped over it for now.

Oh great, I patched to 2.13 (i think that's the version number) and it broke the map...

Yes, that is the small problems with patches! Try and find a 2.13 warlord map in the downloads section on the top of the page.
