I read in C3C when I got it about Tourist Attractions, but I like to mod my game to where it doesn't count years like it usually does, instead it starts at 1 AD and counts 1 year per turn, so I know what turn I'm on.

It says after so many years, tourist attractions start to make money... Anyone know if I Would have to play 1000 turns after building the wonder to start making money, or does it count the turns as if they were, indeed years as usual?

It's years. There are only 540 turns in the entire epic game, after all. :)

Edit: just reread your post.

I'm not sure how the game would treat that. I suppose you would indeed have to wait for a thousand turns.

From the editor help file:

A Great Wonder can become a Tourist Attraction once it has "stood the test of time" for over 100 turns. A Tourist Attraction then begins to attract commerce to the city in which it is constructed, which steadily increases as time passes and its fame spreads. An attraction that has been built for over 100 turns but less than 201 turns produces two gold for its owning city; one that's been around for over 200 turns but less than 301 produces four gold, etc.

And in C3C, when you look at the Victory Status Screen, it tells you what turn you're on.

Alright, thanks for your help.
