Question for Custom Game

Sorry but i can't find a revelent topic in the search menu, please help.

I just got Civ4 and BiS and when im in the Custom Game screen i can't figure out what difficulty the AI is set at. I can't change the difficulty for each AI but i can change the difficulty on my player. All the AIs are set to Noble by default. Does the difficulty i select for my player effect all the other AIs?

Another question i might as well ask since im here is where do i place downloaded maps? I guessed transfered maps and public maps folders but i guess that isn't it because the maps don't show up.

If it's a single player game then yes, your difficulty affects the AIs difficulty. I think it would be cool to be able to set different difficulties for different computer slots, not sure how that would work out tho.

I think no, you cant give different difficulty...

What i'd like to see in custom game is a description of the various maps, if not for civfanatics i'd not know what a fractal map is...
