Hello 
After a while I reinstalled Civ with VP and got really excited knowing that there is a possibility to have 43 civs in game. However strange things are occuring. For example, I play a lot on Earth map and I noticed that placement of the civs is totally messed up. In Australia and around it there are like 10 civs and no city state while America is from the start owned by 1 civ! And 8 CS 
I play with 20 CS max.
So I tried different maps. Many of them just kill the game at first turn, some bizzare things happening on the screen and seconds after I am defeated. One map is almost good for that setup, the Continents. Placement of the civs is really nice but there are no city states! And I think no resources even with Legendary start
What can be done about it? How to play normally with 43 civs setup? Or is it a thing to be fixed in later releases?
