Can anyone please tell me why sometimes Temples generate a hammer and mostly they don't. I seem to have missed the bit in the civilopedia. Ta

If the temple's faith is of what the AP (Apostolic Palace) faith is, you get hammers from those buildings.

how should I attack this city? start with my Catapults or Keshiks?

I attack with pults if I don't like the odds or I've trying to damage tough units. For example recently I suicided a couple of pults to wear down some heavily promoted archers and later in the game longbows that my phants would have been killed attacking and may not even have damaged. Here I suspect your keshliks have good odds against unpromoted archers

thanks. I was reading the AP entry in the Civpedia but they seem to have left that bit out!
