...Does using a mod like that prevent you from getting a high score put in the Hall of Fame? I finished a game using Snoopy's graphics mod and when I won, I didn't get in the Hall of Fame. I'd like to keep that as a benchmark of how I'm improving...

I don't know the 'for sure' answer to this, but I'm going to stab a guess (so wait for confirmation of my answer before taking it as fact!). Did you install his artwork over the original game files, or did you launch the PTW included scenario? If you launched the scenario, despite the regular game rules being the scenario default, the PTW HOF would probably have counted that as a mod and thus, not put the score in...

scenario's typically dont put in entrys into the hall of fame.

In PTW, mods that didn't change the rules would get put in the HOF. I'm faily sure that C3C made it so that any mod was left off.

Is it possible to overwrite the original files? I think I'll do that - I REALLY like Snoopy's "farm/irrigation" tile a lot more.

Go into the high scores file with WORD and add your high score.
It is in the order that you read the Hall of Fall Screen.

BTW, I use Snoopy's Terrain and my score go into the hall of fame fine.
I didn't load it as a scenario, I just replaced the terrain that I wanted. It is only if the BIX/BIQ/BIC is modified that will stop the scores from being logged. They must do a checksum on the default file and if there was any mod then there is no log.
Even if you try and change the colour of a CIV that is a mod and the score won't be logged.
