by going to the option and activating something like "Quick AI moves" (or whatever it is called) as else every unit move by the AI is played out with the units animations

Yeah, I already did the quick AI moves to speed up turn time, and I THINK that helped? xD I just want to really get it slowed down- I also have an old desktop I fully intend to "level up" so to speak :3.
