I have heard this saying he has used a couple times. I may be butchering it but here is the idea of it:

"When you want to move the car forward what do you do? You put the car in "D". When you want to move the car backwards what do you do? You put the car in "R".

The choice is simple enough: want to let corporations rape the environment? Vote Republican.

Want to have the government intrude on your personal life? Vote Republican.

Want the rich to pay a smaller percentage in taxes than you? Vote Republican.

Want the rest of the world to point and laugh at you for being American? Vote Republican.
