On the downside: It gets worse as you get older. The theory goes that we measure the passing of time in relation to our past. So the older you get, the smaller the relative time is and, allegedly, the faster it feels.
On the upside: I imagine time in a retirement home like its inhabitants - moving strenuously.

Not many people would argue that it's unethical to kill animals without qualification, rather, they'd usually argue that it's wrong to do so unnecessarily, and the debate hinges on how we define necessity. Similarly, most people would qualify their support for late-term abortion on grounds of necessity. Perhaps a few people think that we should kill all the babies and none of the animals, but there are also a few people who believe that the world is flat; some opinions don't actually matter.

Sorry bro, this is the thread for blowing off steam. I build up steam by reading/hearing wrong opinions, and also when morally bankrupt people question my ethics.
I wouldn't consider 'not wanting to raise a kid' to be a necessity.
It's the principle.
