Well even worse is that the other day there were drunken adults partying out there. It was the middle of the day. But they sounded like hyenas.

I think I've screwed everything up in one sentence. I don't what to do or how to handle this and it's making me more depressed than ever...
The chick who sits next to me at work is coughing so hard she's practically choking. It's really loud and intrusive. This happens once every 3-5 minutes or so. She's not sick, she's just a cigarette smoker. Keep it up, Mrs Marlboro, that's clearly working out great for you.

The carpet in this room seriously smells. Dank carpet smell. I've tried baking soda, I've tried drying it with a hair-dryer for like an hour, and I've tried a powerful fan + dehumidifier. All only very temporarily get rid of the smell.
