Noice. Second!

Edit: but this thread's number 51.

Should I start a thread with the right number? :mischief:

First post all fixed now. Speed kills. :p

No it's not, you're still not counting the existent fiftieth thread.

Rave: Someone finally started this thread after the last one went well past 1000 posts

Rave: We finally have a new raves thread. I wasn't sure if it would ever get made.

I considered offering, but realized I don't have anything to rave about at the moment.

Unless you count the very loud thunderstorm we had earlier being over, and Maddy is no longer freaking out.

While I'm happy there is a new thread, I must admit that I am disappointed that there is no hexadecimal number string in the title. :p

Nothing new-fangled about me; no hexi thingamabobs or dozenal counting. Just plain English unless there's a place to rhyme. Hmmm......

'Tis because of the dozenal heresy. The Orthodox Geek Church is busy stamping out their nonsense.

I have a rant/rave.

Rave: AEON, Japan’s largest supermarket chain, has some very good sandwiches at reasonable prices. I got lunch for ¥500, which is about $5.

Rant: the sandwiches offered depends entirely on the store. I go around Osaka prefecture for work and only a couple of the supermarkets have the good sandwiches.

Coding is hard, but I have anticipation of joy.

You're cryptic like an oracle, Hygro.

My wife bought me a weighted blanket for my birthday, and when it arrived early, she decided it was the kinda gift someone shouldn't wait for. I've had 5 nights in a row of restful, sound sleep. I can't remember the last time I've slept as well as I have, but it could easily go back 15+ years.

hands down, best quality of life gift I've ever gotten

As Roger Ebert would say, two thumbs up!

I am very intrigued.
