They need to change how they identify and display a City-State's units. For example, when I hover over one, instead of telling me it is a "Ossossane Swordsman", the game tells me it is a "Wyandot Swordsman" indicating it's of the Wyandot people who live in the city of Ossossane. Wyandot doesn't mean crap to me -- in fact, to find out who the Wyandot are, I have to click on the City-State and go into it's diplomacy screen to see what people inhabit it. However, identifying it as Ossossane unit when I hover over it would be way more relevant info as its suzerain currently hates my guts.
Plus, when I'm at war with Ossossane and its suzerain, why is Ossossane's unit banners not showing me they are hostile like a Hostile Independent Power would? Seriously, I have a sh*t load of City-State units running around from three different City-States all in the same general vicinity and they all look identical. One of them (Samarkand, which shows as Karakhanid) I'm suzerain of, one I'm at war with (Ossossane, which shows as Wyandot), and the other one (Murara Jambi, which displays as Srivijyan) is neutral. FFS, Firaxis, get your act together and fix this!
