Re: Text boxes disappearing

I'm playing the patched single player game, and for some reason the text boxes that give you the short description of a unit (like when a city is asking what to produce next) that include Sid's tips just stop appearing. Instead as I mouse over the different items I get the terrain information on the tiles below the listings in the lower left part of the screen. The only way so far I've found to workaround is simply to exit and restart the program, but I would prefer not to have to do that. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

I noticed that last night between crashes and BSoDs

Seems to me disabling (unchecking) the "Right Click Menu" box, last one on the Game tab under Options, brought them back. Assumes you have Show Pop Ups and Sid's Tip enabled (first two boxes on same Game tab under Options). So now my question is what is Right Click Menu for? I assumed it would allow me to right click on units and terrain for available options, but no it looks like it allows you to right click on a menu and get taken to the Civilopedia entry for that menu item? That is a waste. I miss my right click context menus! When I played Alpha Centauri I was in heaven, right click options from here 'til Tuesday
