really really really slow

hello again.

im on a laptop running an AMD turion 64X2 TL-50 processor, with 256x2 mb and a good 50gb left on the hard drive with 128 mb video memory,

the game is glitchy and almost unplayable, it is slow, jumpy, huge load time. and also crashes random (this is explained in my other thread)

I too have the 5 minute startup problem. Installed the latest patch for BTS and still the same. 1gig of ram and a P4 2.8 G so it should run Ok.

Anyone have any ideas on how to speed up the start?
