Rebase options mod

I'd like to modify vanilla BTS and some other mods I play to either inhibit rebase capability or limit the range (can effectively inhibit with a range value of 0). I'd want the limitation to apply to both human and AI players.

I know some serious modders have done this in some mega mods... but I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a patch (or a way I could patch) just BTS and/or Mods that I've installed with just this feature.

Any ideas?

It can be rather time consuming to move a feature from one mod to another and it's prone to cause bugs. I tried to make a common base for modcomps using git as this would make the task easier, but it never really took off. It doesn't matter how well an idea works if people doesn't use it.

As for which mod to use for modding, I would say stay away from vanilla. If you want a vanilla experience, start with something like K-mod because you want the bugfixes and performance boosts.
