Recommended mods for returning Civ 5 player?

Hi all,

After being quite disappointed with Civ BE and now having a craving for more Civ action, I've decided to give Civ V another go, but it's been quite a while since I last played it.

Any recommended mods? I'm thinking anything that improves AI / balance, that sort of thing, or anything else that is highly recommended.

I would suggest Events and decisions, as well as JFD's new mechanics, like Piety, cultural diversity, and exploration continued expanded, as well as mercenaries, all compatible with CBP(can be toggled on\ off in the user setting file if you download them)
