The year is 1952, the Pacific War has been over for 7 years. The Empire of Japan has been thwarted in it's attempt on Asian domiance. The United States of America and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics are the largest military and economic powers on the planet. World War Two has yet to happen.
In 1924, Adolf Hitler was mysteriously killed while walking out of prison. By 1933, the Nazi party fell apart as the Weihmer Republic mourned the death of their leader Hidenburg. The world was in the middle of a depression. The entire world suffered. In 1941 the world became engulfed into the pacific War as Japanese attacks on America, France and Britain commensed. This was the Japanese Empire's bid for Asian dominance.
Japan was defeated soundly by the Allies of France, Britain, the USA, China and many others. The Americans were forced to drop 2 atomic bombs on Japan as Russia swept through Japanese territories. America hd almost 4 million troops helping the British and Chinese drive the Japanese out of Asia. The sheer numbers and power of the Allies overwhelmed the Japanese as they surrended in August 1945.
The Allies had a new enemy after the war, communism. Communist forces in China would take 4 years to route out by Chinese and American soldiers. Korea is currently split between the north and south. The Greeks have barly been able to win a civil war against communist forces. In Central America, communist forces try to gain power. Eastern Europe is gaining large communist populations that might try to rebel.
The route of all of this communism is the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the USSR. After a humiliating defeat at the hands of Finland in 1939, Stalin began to beef up his military. By 1942 the purges had stopped and the new T-34 tank rolled into the spotlight during the May Day Parade. The innovative Yak fighter/bomber was unvieled when Russia stormed through Japan's forces in 1945. Russia has currently taken over Poland in a storm. Within 1 month, on December 24, Poland's government fled the nation and Poland was fully annexed by Russia. Thje war saw the debut of the T-54, RUssia's newest tank, The Mig-15 Russia's newest Jet and the TU-95 Bear, Russia's newest heavy bomber. All considered to be some of the best equipment in the world matching or surpassing their American counterparts. Europe stands on the presapous of World War Two.

WC (world credits) represent the economy of the nations of Europe and elsewhere. To increase Credits you must bank all of your credits from that turn.

Cities represent major population and economic centers. They can be destroyed and damaged by bombers, rockets and atomic weapons. Captured cities will help your economy and populations grow. Cities will be hard to conquer if enemy troops are inside.

The map only represents Europe, however this is a NES of global proportions. There are several nations not on the map but of much importance. These include colonies, nations and armies. They can either be your friend, our enemy. International relations will provide aid and help, to you or your foes.

Defensive Line: Specify between where and where it will be built. I will determine the cost. The more money you put into it, the longer and stronger it gets.
Intelligence Angency: Will allow you to commit espionage in an opposing country. The USSR and USA start with this. The more you put into your espionage the bigger your spy network and the better information you will recieve. The secret info will be pmed to you every turn, that is IF you get a report.

Army/Naval/Air Force Acadamies: Once built will increase the stregth of your military. If captured/destroyed your army goes back down to normal. Can't be rebuilt. Each built seperatly. USA starts with one of each.
