You have witnessed modern warfare. You viewed the Pacific War through the same eyes as we. If after seeing mechanized warfare, and modern air warfare, and the great speed and longevity of fleets, you still believe that the Soviet Union is too far away to threaten Iberia, then you are fools. If Europe does not unite against this threat, then the Soviets will knock us off one by one. First Poland, then Germany, then France will fall; it took only weeks for Japan to overrun Indochina and Malaya, therefore it would clearly take the armor and air power of the Russian juggernaut only a few months to push to the Bay of Biscay. What then? France overrun, a Russian army across the Pyrenees, waiting for an opportunity to cross into Spain? And we alone are not strong enough to defened ourselves, let alone defeat the Russians; once Spain fell, Portugal would be next. Six months. Perhaps less. That's how long it would take for a full-scale Soviet invasion to overrun Europe, unless we joined together in mutual defense. My Iberian brothers, will you fight alongside me?

This line will be inside the Pyrenees, wherever the terrain is best suited to defense; it will not specifically follow the Franco-Spanish border. (Not sure I can do this, but if I can, cool. )
