Hello, first of all, i wish to apologize if i am posting this in the wrong subsection. Been reading the forum for years, but just now registered an account in order to ask something.
So, i love the Vox Populi package, its the greatest. The smarter AI, the new Resources, the new dialogue text in diplomacy, the new wonders, traits, everything.
Well, everything expect one thing: Unhappiness.
I just really dont seem to get a hold on unhappiness, i have tried on the lowest possible setting (since one thread here mentioned that), and i would still go from 15 happiness, straight to -35 once i hit renaissance. With every civilization, and on every round now, no matter how much i micromanage every single city, i keep dropping to minus 30 or 50 unhappiness once i reach the renaissance.
And the constant micromanaging has made it more of a dreaded chore than a fun game mechanic, so i am thinking that the unhappiness values might be a smidge unbalanced, and i was wondering where in the files i could reduce them by half? or at least, lower them by 25%, in order to see if that would be better?
I have been going through the files, and i got a pretty good idea on what to change, but i want to be absolutely certain before i do it.
If it makes referencing easier, i am using notepad++ for all coding, so a line number can make it easier to find where to change the values.
PS: The tile for "Bananas" does not have any text information, it simply says; "Bananas" in all caps lock, think this might a slight oversight.,
