Well, I've done that, but still can't upload anything.
[Religion and Revolution]: Bugs and Todos

What message do you get when trying to do it?
I downloaded and unzipped 2.5.1.4 now, after completely deleting the Religion_and_Revolution folder
E:\User1\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Colonization\MODS\Religion_and_Revolution
so that there were no leftovers from before.
Starting the game using the R&R icon gives that error while starting
Starting the game with the original Colonization icon starts the game fine, the error comes here when "Go Advanced" and "Load Mod" I try to load R&R.

This savegame works fine for me. No bugs - no freeze, no error message when starting the game, no other bugs.
Hm, this is very strange. The current upload 2.5.1.4 works absolutely fine for me.
Could it be my 32bit version of Windows?
Or that strange / instead of \ in the line of the error message that the file is not found?
As the error message mentions something about Militia could that be a result of the removal of the townguard?
I did delete the entire Religions_and_Revolutions folder in the mod folder before unzipping the 2.5.1.4 version. Does the game have a cache at another location?
Unfortunately in version 2.5.1.4 the same xml-message occurs.
In version 2.5 everything was fine, so could it be possible that by cleaning the bug "European Line-Infantery gets no promotion",
or by cleaning the other bug "King sells no military" a mistake happened?
Both bugs were military ones and the xml-mistake is a military code.
By buying units in europe, the order of appearance changed: first you can buy military and then settler and specialists

I started 3 games, and after 3-4 rounds everytime crash to desktop
I added a save (next turn ctd)
This game started with xml error-message and 2 plot city radius

I loaded this, but I can't make it crash. I'm not sure what to do.
I tried debugging this one. Ray added a feature, which can provide a free UNITCLASS_VETERAN. Since this unitclass has been renamed, the DLL complains that it can't read it. Either there is a veteran unitclass or the DLL has to be updated to match a new veteran class.
I can't read this savegame for some unknown reason.
Out of curiosity I have checked if it happens on vanilla version.
It does, which leads me to conclusion (mentioned on forums too) it's might be the problem with game engine - hardware compatibility.
Sad news. Doesn't look like we'll be able to play.
