K, first off Im new here.
I Know this isnt the right place to put questions, I dont know were to put it. I really need help.

So please dont flame me and help me out. I really respect the Civ forums, I used to post here when I first started playing Civ 3, so im not trying to piss you guys off.

Anyway, Im wondering if there is a mod for Civ 4 (perferably for BTS) that allows you to delete Religions from a city, w/o razing the city and such.
Like have a unit that will destroy a Religion in a city, or something.

It doesnt really matter about the AI and such, I just need it for the Player.

Thanks and Sorry in advance.

hope this doesnt piss to many people off...

Search for Inquisitors. Severall mods include them, and usually those units have the ability to get rid of unwanted religions.

There are many mods that include inquisitor units that can purge non-state religions, including the "Gods of Old" mod that is included in BtS. It shouldn't be hard to borrow that code in your own inquisition mod, although I think there are a few mods that implement it better (including FfH, but that changes so much it hardly still qualifies as Civ IV). FfH also has a wonder/ritual (used to be a national wonder, but in newer versions it is a ritual, i.e., project) that gets rid of non-state religions.

I think that you can get rid of some cooperations by spreading other cooperations (those that compete for the same resources) in the same city. Also, the labor civic have their effects on cooperations, limiting their spread/changing their costs/making them useless in some cities (I think that mercantilism "removes" foreign coorps, and state property all coorps, but that they return as soon as you switch civics. I'm not actually sure, since I play mostly FfH, which doesn't have cooperations (guilds) yet, and completely different civics.

I'm pretty sure that if you wanted to you could edit the inquisitor's code to make it work for corperations instead. They are handled in almost identical ways, so it shouldn't be a hard change.
