CANCEL THIS THREAD - I FIGURED IT OUT

Stay tuned. I'll be posting the mod soon--and a tutorial on editing the GameFont files on the cheap.

After five months of work, I am getting ready to release Eusebius World Religions, which will incorporate all real-world religions with a million or more members, as well as code allowing true religious competition and conversion.

I have one major stumbling block. After a whole day of messing with DTXBmp, Civ IV still crashes with every version of GameFont.tga and GameFont_75.tga I can produce. I am hoping some kind soul will produce usable versions of these files for me.

Attached to this message are a jpg of what the file ought to look like (with the exception of the gold stars for holy cities) and a zip of all the dds files for the religions and the tga files from the Shinto mod to start with.

Here is your chance to gain everlasting glory in my mod readme file! Please help.

Thanks,
Eusebius

PS. Here is the order they should appear in...
Jainism
Sikhism
Orthodox
Catholicism
Hellenism
Mesoamerican
Zoroastrianism
Tenrikyo
Bahai
CaoDai
Secularism

Awesome I have been waiting for something like this. Sorry I am not a programmer. I like the idea of an increase in religious competition. Every game I play one major early religion dominates mostly the whole game until almost everyone adopts free religion. I would like to see more religious competition and diversity. I would like to see religions creating more than just two groups of nations allying in religious blocks.

Ah, Secularism?

You an Ann Coulter fan? :mischief:

Isn't the number of religions hardcoded?

Nope, you can have as many as you put in xml\gameinfo\civ4religioninfos.
