Religious and Science flavor city improvements

Since Religious and Science city improvement generate culture and can't be captured, we can use this opportunity to enjoy different architecture styles. If you're happy with ancient and medieval religious and science city improvements not aging up, you could incorporate a large amount of different flavor versions for each civ.

I want the keep the releases in a trickle as it's quite a chore for me to compile a large pack and release at once.

Let's begin the thread with the Ottomans, whose architecture differs greatly from the rest of the Islamic world. Unfortunately most of our available materials are only of mosques with their signature pencil minarets. t'd be confusing to have the same mosque designs for everything. I wanted some Anatolian Seljuk and Ottoman flavored Academies and Universities. Age of Empires 4 just so happens to have them

The Academy is based on the Seljuk Twin Minaret madrasah in Erzurum.

Here's another set of Ottoman Academy and University. This time it's made from Kyriakos' city graphics and his arab mosque. The style is that of the classical period instead of Seljuk and early Ottoman of the previous set. Here we can go ham with the pencil minaret aesthetics though in reality during that period minarets are usually reserved for mosques only. If you use unique improvements for the Ottomans like I do, you can have them age from the late medieval versions into the Classical version come Industrial Age.

The University can be used for a religious improvement as well as it's based on this mosque design:

Here's a late medieval Ottoman cathedral and a Persianate one.

The Ottoman medieval Cathedral based on the Ulu Cami grand mosque in Bursa:

If you use a unique Ottoman Cathedral you can have it age into the classical age version in the Industrial age.

The Persianate one is from Age of Empires 2. You can also give it to the Mongols to represent the central Asian Khanates, Golden Horde and the Timurid Empire.

Here's an ancient Babylonian set of Shrines, Temples and Library.

The shrine is Kyriakos' ziggurat from the city graphics. The Temple and Library and from Age of Empires 1 DE.

Late ancient and medieval hospitals were a major part of a city's infrastructure. These were mostly religious institutions providing alms and care for the sick and poor as well as shelter for travelers and pilgrims. Spiritual care was just as important as if not more than actual medical treatment. The Industrial age hospitals can be renamed "Medical Center" if you wish to use the name "hospital" for the medieval ones, which is much more apt considering what they did.

I suggest making them Medieval city improvements that give happiness and generate low culture (maybe 2) and get the Religious flag. C3X however allows them to be more than just a temple clone. You can now have them give food bonus yields like other civ games. In my personal epic game mod, I have them require the tech "Civil Service" and an Academy (a science 50% multiplier representing mostly monasteries (except in the Confucian far east) which itself requires a Library). That means both Religious and Scientific civs get a discount in constructing them. They're 120 shields, 2gpt maintenance and give 1 happy face, 2 culture and a bonus yield of 1 food and 4 gold, netting you 2 gpt. This reflects their stimulation of the local economy, their mobilization of private charitable donations and them feeding the poor leading to bonus food. I did buff the Colloseum to making 3 citizens happy. So you can choose between these two 120 shield improvements depending on your needs.

The Medi version is from: https://tassoskatsikas.artstation.com/projects/8l2a9n. It's the Hospitaller Knights' hospital in Rhodes. It should be used for both Western Euros and Medis.

The Byzantine version is based on the Xenon hospitals using Kyriakos' resource graphics. It's the closest thing we have to the Pantokrator Monastery, which was used for medical treatment.

The Slavic version is a Rus cathedral from Kyriakos' city graphics. The Kievan Rus and even later Muscovites didn't build any dedicated hospitals until much later so this one is a what-if. It's meant to be a Rus version of the Byzantine one.

The Arab one is based on their early medieval mosques: https://dl2.myminifactory.com/object-assets/63f4e3c30a896/images/230X230-renders-2-0-04.jpg
The Islamic world was the most advanced one it came to medieval hospitals. Hospitals had licensed doctors, were managed secularly and were also centers of medical learning. So should your science slider be high, the extra commerce will be channeled into research. This one is constructed from Kyriakos' city graphics and is inspired by the Ibn Tulun Mosque, which had a hospital as part of it. Give it to Arabs, Egyptians, Babylonians and maybe Carthage if you want them to represent medieval Maghrebi factions.

The Ottoman one is made from Kyriakos' city graphics and based on the hospital attached to mosque complexes:

Give it to the Ottomans and maybe even Zulus as those rows of domes were also a thing in Swahili Coast architecture like in the Great Mosque of Kilwa.

The Persian one is based on a similar design and is the caravanserai from Age of Empires 2 Both hospitals and caravanserais had similar layouts. Give it to Persians, Hittites, Babylonians and even Mongols if you want them to represent all the Eurasian Khanates.

The Sahelian one is from Age of Empires 2 and based on the Grand Mosque of Djenne. No Sahelian faction built dedicated medieval hospitals so this one is a what-if. It can also be used as a cathedral.

The Indian one is meant to be a Mauryan hospital. The Mauryan state sponsored many of these. It's made from Kyriakos' city graphics. A generic building as I've no idea what their layout was. Could be used for anything from Library, Academy to University.

The Eastern Asian ones are from Kyriakos' city graphics. Here's a reference point: https://i.pinimg.com/736x/4c/fd/52/4cfd52330148ce1b28ac5154cfb13320.jpg
The Japanese get a separate one also from Kyriakos' city graphics.

The South East Asian one is from Kyriakos' city graphics. Here we have a description of a medieval Khmer hospital layout: A stone temple in the center surrounded by wooden buildings and the compound was walled.

An Ethiopian cathedral from Age of Empires 2 based on an Ethiopian medieval rock hewn church in Lalibela. Could also stand in for a Monastery/Academy.
