Is it possible for a single city to buy the Follower Belief Buildings from different religions by successively changing its majority religion? Say, your city Rome has Catholicism, with "Churches" follower belief. You buy a Church in that city. You then purchase an inquisitor and a missionary from one of your cities whose majority religion is Judaism, which has "Synagogues" as a follower belief. You send them to convert Rome to Judaism, thus allowing you to purchase Synagogues there. If you have another city with another majority religion, you can do the same thing to purchase that religion's follower building. Is it possible to do this?

I haven't actually tested this but the answer seems like an obvious yes, unless I missed an update that prevents exactly this.

Yes, but it would cripples your empire and spend lots of faith which can be spent elsewhere. Cities generate unhappiness when the major religion population is small. Pretty much, you would run into these situation when converting cities.

Problem is that human players, and only players, can do this deliberately. The faith cost doing this will eventually be recovered since you're purchasing lots of faith buildings. This is especially true for massive, sprawling empires. Do all buildings purchased this way benefit from the Sacred Sites reformation belief?

Then I might do this the next time I get the opportunity. Though, it honestly sounds like a potential exploit.

I've tried doing this and concluded that it costs too much to Faith to be a truly good idea. Religious Strife will be really nasty. Another I was disappointed to learn is that Founder Wonders are National; at least Holy Sites are still good even with one.
