Religious Idols for Mines you take from other Civs

My Religious Idols pantheon is working for all the mines I created myself, but when I conquered a city from Germany, the mines they had on Iron and Copper are not producing the +2 Faith. Do I need to tear those mines down and place new ones to get the bonus?

Sounds rather like a bug I would recommend to report - the only improvements were static yields are a thing are the Vampire Castles from the NFP Ethiopia/Secret Society DLC and I'm not even sure if you can conquer them at all.

Religious Idols shouldn't effect Iron, as it isn't a luxury or bonus resource (it's a strategic). It should effect the copper, however...

Ah, you are correct. But yes, it should affect the copper and it is not. This game is super buggy.
