Removing AI players from multiplayer?

is it possible to set the number of players in multiplayer games or remove AI players?
I want to play a game with a friend, but without AI players interfering.

I want to play a game with a friend, but without AI players interfering.

You can set up an MP game with only two players by using the Scenario Generator. Essentially you would have to do the following:

1) Start Scenario Generator and create the world.
2) Place starting units for only you and your opponent on the map.
3) Save off the scenario and exit the Scenario Editor.
4) At the main screen start a Multiplayer game, and then select the scenario option and load in your scenario.
5) You will be prompted for the human factions to be played: select both factions.
6) From there it will be a standard MP Hotseat/ PBEM game.

I had suggested the intervention of a third party.

@ Athaba: if you can wait till Sunday, then I can set this game up for you. Just give me the specifics of the game you want, as follows:

- Factions desired
- World Size
- Land versus sea amounts
- NL setting
- passwords from both factions
- any other item you think needs to be addressed

I can then set up relatively quickly from there (and note I am going offline now and won't be back online till Sunday).
