Removing Warlord?

If i never plan on playing Warlord or the regular verison of Civilization IV can i remove it and have Beyond the sword still work properly?

You can certainly uninstall Warlords, but you must keep Civ4 'regular' for Beyond the Sword to work. By uninstalling Warlods you cannot play the scenarios, but you probably don't want to and you will be saving yourself some hard disk space :).

I uninstalled Warlords as soon as I got Beyond the Sword. For some reason, Beyond the Sword wouldn't start so I reinstalled Beyond the Sword and it worked.

I think that is because if you install BtS with Warlords already installed it detects the presence of Warlords and doesn't bother to install any of the Warlords assets (leaderheads, music, movies, etc.). Removing Warlords afterwards will get rid of all of the Warlords assets and mess up BtS.

So if you want to remove Warlords make sure you do it BEFORE installing BtS.

Yes, that's what I guessed happened. So, if you want to remove Warlords, either remove before installing BtS as virulent said, or plan on reinstalling BtS afterwards.
