WW1-early WW2 light tank
and the files
this is pretty good, but I think I prefer Kinboat's version
Sweet! I'll make this the Russian version.
The Russians also had a tank that looked like this? Or did they just buy em from the French?
They used a model that was derived almost completely from the renault, but they produced it themselves. Not during WWI though - in the years following.
It was a KS tank, also called "Russian Renault", 14 pieces were built and used in Russian Civil War 1917-20. Then, in Soviet Union was produced a MS-1 vechicle ("malyi soprovozhdeniya" - light escort tank), known also as T-18. These light tank were used in Soviet-Chinese war in 1929, and later in 1938 near Khasan Lake they fought against Japanese troops. On the picture is KS tank.
And here is detailed blueprint of MS-1/T-18
but its not quite ready yet
wow - that was fast
Awesome, gona wait for that one. Thanks for the info.
It's beauty compared to the other Russian designs!
I give you the "Tsar" Tank!
Only a mother could love this one!
Hey! We really need to get those done! They would really make the game look ugly!!! Ripptide?
Blueprints of most - if not all - Russian/soviet tanks ca be found here http://www.redtanks.bos.ru/
You put so much more detail into this then I did with mine Maybe one of them could be used as an Itailian version because I believe they had a very similar version which saw limited action up until early WW2.
The AEF also used these (the only American light tank used in WW1) .
Later on --
"The M1917A1 was a modification carried out on 6 basic M1917 units in 1931. This modification increased the horsepower to 75 by using a Franklin series 145 air cooled engine. This modification increased the speed of the tank to a blistering 9+ mph - probably much too fast for the 2 crewmen inside!"
The US also fielded a version dedicated to radio communications (see below)
Very nice one! GOOD WORK!
Don't do that
