Hi !

Is there a way to know your overall reputation rating ?

In the same idea, is there somewhere an evaluation of the weight of your actions about your reputation ? What can really improve / worsen it and by what amount ?

Also, what effects can you expect depending on your rep ? AI not taking per turn deals, effect on cost, etc...

Seems some actions are too much penalized : raze one city on antique age and everyone dislikes you still in modern age...
Imagine if this was true : good-bye germany (WW II), US (indians), most european countries ?

3. Break treaties and stuff like that
4. That are the kind of effects. Oh, and the AI might attack you.
5. On the other hand, human leaders don't live 6000 years, as with civ3 leaders...

1) Hi there
2) Not really, but you'll find out when you try to make a deal with someone.
3) No, but search the forum, and you'll find lots of threads that will make you learn more about it.
4) One typical effect is that the AI will "never accept" to give you any instant value (tech, map, gold) when (part of) what you give is a gpt or resource. It will still happily buy your resource for gpt or sell a tech for gold (but not gpt) though.
5) Well, if France demands a tribute from me in the early game when I'm weak, I will surely remember it and pick out France as my target 2000 years later.
