I will thank if you would kindly asnwer some of the following, your responses could help me to develop my strategy into a better one.

IMPORTANT: I know there are a lot of them. Don't feel obligated to answer them all if you don't want to, skip as many as you want :)

    1. A lot of cities and few tile improvements or few cities and a lot of tile improvements? Why?
    2. Do you put all your wonders, slaves, specialists, religions and corps in the same city and employ the rest just for resources or do you keep a more diversificated strategy? Why?
    3. How do deal with AI rebelds in Revolutions Modmod? Do you fund them with your surplus gold? Do you try to help them so you improve your relations and you can pacifically anex them? Do you gift units to them so they can fully develop in civs with more than 1 city?
    4. Do you use nukes in late game? How often and when? How do you deal with the enormous diplomatic penalties afterwards?
    5. When you raze a city on your mainland continent, how do you deal with wandering criminals?
    6. Favourite early game guild? Why? (Guild Modmod)
    7. Favourite late game corp? Why?
    8. Favourite early game religion? Why?
    9. Favourite late game religion? Why?
    10. How is your ideal science-culture-espionage late-game ratio?
    11. Favourite principles combo?
    12. How often you change principles and state religion? Do you prefeer having the religious trait so there is no anarchy?
    13. Favourite slave specialist?
    14. How do you deal with inflation caused by rushing production?
    15. How do you increase criminal spawn rates in a city without messing it up? Do you use this trick to obtain captives without going to war?
    16. How often you use great specialist to obtain Golden Age turns?
    17. Size matters, range units: A lot of weak range units to bombard a lot of times or one big range unit to bombard causing more damage? Why?
    18. Do you raze cities with a lot of worthy great specialist on them? Do you spare them so you can use those specialist?
    19. How do you deal with Judaism and Scientology if you already got a lot of gold?
    20. Do you use kamikaze air units? Do you consider it's worth losing the unit to cause more damage?
    21. How do you deal with Azatru and Tengri when melee and chivalry -respectively- units become obsolete?
    22. Do you roleplay :p (please tell me I'm not the only one who does this)?

Great questions! I'll answer them as I can:

Both. At first, I try to have few cities and a lot of tile improvements so that my capital and earliest cities that are most likely to stay caught up and useful to major war efforts have as much going into them as possible. This is so that % yield and commerce modifying wonders that go into them can be maximized to the fullest. For production, this is especially key because you want your core wonder building and troop training centers to have access to as much production as possible so they can pump these things out at top speed.

Then, after giving the first cities as many future plots out to the third rung as possible without wasting land spaces (so there's usually a little overlap), I'll crowd the cities in together (or just let them be whatever they are thanks to war captures) because each city is an opportunity to build a set of buildings that have strong base +/- yield and commerce values so the more cities the merrier.

I tend to maximise the improvements around each city as the city expands. I have an army of workers just for that purpose.

I grow as fast as I can economically. That means 1 new city at a time early on then 5 at a time later. 5 is the limit due tho merchants being limited.

I don't let the situation get to the point of rebels. Nor do most of the AI nations.

State Religion - Shaman or Druid for food. Egypt-Myth for a balanced mix. Asatru if I am gong to war in the middle eras or Christianity for same.

About once per era. More if needs change.
I don't rush much so don't have that problem.
As often as possible but I may hold off for a few turns to get that new Civic.

    • A lot of cities and few tile improvements or few cities and a lot of tile improvements? Why?
    - Early game you can support very few cities, so try to grab as much as you can. Certain strategic resources, such as horses or iron might be worth a sub-optimal location for you to grab early.
    • Do you put all your wonders, slaves, specialists, religions and corps in the same city and employ the rest just for resources or do you keep a more diversificated strategy? Why?
    - Assuming you removed the cap on wonders (like me), stacking wonders is a good way to get more great people, in general. I usually make my capital a super-city with wonders, slaves and so on. The main reasons: very fast construction of wonders, all the bonuses apply to everything, such as bonuses to military production and bonus xp. This is doubly so if you allow great people to grant XP, as you want them to be in one place to build units with a lot of XP.
A note about slaves: every city can support only so many slaves, before it starts being unhappy, and require setting slaves on happiness. At that point, I suspect it's better to start placing them in other cities.
    • How do deal with AI rebelds in Revolutions Modmod? Do you fund them with your surplus gold? Do you try to help them so you improve your relations and you can pacifically anex them? Do you gift units to them so they can fully develop in civs with more than 1 city?
    - I usually kill them. They are in the way to get the AI's cities. Otherwise, I ignore them.
    • Favourite slave specialist?
    - production > food > normal/currency. sometimes happiness, the rest are ignored.
    • How do you deal with inflation caused by rushing production?
    - that's the reason you avoid rushing, as inflation can only be reduced with time
    • How do you increase criminal spawn rates in a city without messing it up? Do you use this trick to obtain captives without going to war?
    - This seem like a hard to implement tactic with revolutions mod. Otherwise, you could just stack a city full of slaves, a bunch of investigators, and minimal -crime buildings. I personally don't use this tactic.
    • How often you use great specialist to obtain Golden Age turns?
    - Personally, I prefer to use them for techs, usually.
    • Size matters, range units: A lot of weak range units to bombard a lot of times or one big range unit to bombard causing more damage? Why?

    - No single answer here. Usually, many weaker are better, but at certain stages cities get defenses against bombardment (for example, defense against non-explosive bombardment). At these points it's better to stack them up, as the units won't cause any damage. Another case is if your units get bombarded and you risk losing them.
    • Do you raze cities with a lot of worthy great specialist on them? Do you spare them so you can use those specialist?
    - I almost never raze cities. I'd rather get the half-built city itself.

    1. Neither, maximize effort
    2. No. Each city is a self sustained city and wonders are doled out according to need.
    3. Never use Revolutions, Breaks the AI.
    4.No.
    5.Never raze any cities.
    6. Rarely build them
    7.Never build them
    8. Tengrii, Horses man horses and all mounted units.
    9. Depends, game circumstances
    10. Can't answer that now with all the New Late game Eras.
    11. What do you mean by Principles???
12.b. Change religions maybe twice or three times but use Multiple religion spread to acquire as many as possible.
    13. None Never use slaves, never will.
    14. Rarely rush so not a problem.
15.I do Not increase criminals, period.
    16. Occasionally, when needed.
    17. Can't answer. Don't like the Option(s) so don't use them.
    18. Never raze.
    19. Don't. Probably never get Scientology anyway. Do try to get Judaism though.
    20. Have not seen that part of the game in Years! But never used it anyway.
    21. Keep them active anyway.
    22. No, not into role playing a TBS game.

    1. Favourite principles combo?
    2. How often you change principles and state religion? Do you prefeer having the religious trait so there is no anarchy?
I think he meant civics and traits.

Since I played whole mod on my space play tough without AIs I can answer:
    1. I spread out cities, so they can utilize 3rd ring, and in early game I built improvements on demand, then I just filled all plots that cities can work on them.
    2. I tried to spread out wonders, so there would be fairly even chance of spawning most types of GP.
    3. All it does is buffing crime and breaking AI, disabled it in midgame, as it was merely annoying.
    4. I wouldn't use more powerful one, as they just destroy map, although it was funny to nuke Alpha Centauri on my space map.
    5. I don't raze them
    6. I built them all
    7. Due to bug with Advanced Corporations not spawning without other players, I never got them.
    8. I played without state religion, though collected them all without actively spreading.
    9. ^
    10. I played entire game on 100% science (built all buildings :p)
    11. In early game - maximizing production/GP, and late game as I liked - they are drowned by +% buildings anyway.
    12. I checked them every quarter of era or so. As for traits I went for Cultural, Industrial, Agriculural, Philosophical, Financial and Scientific. Traits get drowned out by +% buildings though in later game (no idea how its for AI though)
    13. No slavery
    14. Don't rush - had to edit some files after rushed industrial revolution (+production buildings) to calm down inflation :p
    15. I kinda ignored crime until criminals started removing improvements :p
    16. When I wanted to switch a lot of civics
    17. I played with Combat Mods but micromanaging is annoying.
    18. I don't raze
    19. I would get them anyway so AI doesn't get them :p
    20. Never saw that mechanic
    21. A lot of gunpowder I guess
    22. I was doing taat lightlyy when I was playing my space map.

I tend to go pretty strong in the primary city but I do diversify a little to the second and third and sometimes to a distant capital I've conquered that had a good head start from the player that used to own it. These secondary production centers build wonders I don't want corrupting the main city with things like artist points and so on and I also usually use them to swell my forces with defensive units that I don't worry as much about the final quality of that can be used for fodder. This takes a little lifting weight off the main capital so the more important stuff can get done faster.
