Good News Everyone!
I was wondering if someone could make me a random map script to make a space-ish map. It would create 3 different sizes of planets (like the ones in the attachment, 1/5th large, 2/5th medium & 3/5th small), with these options automatically:
- Axis (up-down or left-right)
- Type (Desert, Snow, or normal climate)
- If Desert or Snow, then it has a 2/3 chance of becoming filled with hills
- If normal, creates a mix of grass, plain & desert, with the desert in the middle, grass on the poles (depepnding on the axis)
- If Desert, 1/2 chance of having polar ice (ice terrain on the poles)
- If normal, 3/4 chance of having polar ice
- If normal, creates random (1/2 cahnce) trees on grass & plains
These options manually:
- Density (High, Medium, Low; how dense should the planets be created (high = min 4 squares apart, medium = min 6, low = min 8 squares
- Structure (Random, Galaxy, Solar System; Random creates planets everywhere, galaxy creates more in the center of the map, Solar system creates a 10-wide circle of peaks in the center and as many planets that fit 5-10 squares farther and farther from the sun. Also creates an asteroid field (random peaks at 0-3 square intervals) about 5 squares thick going in a circle around the sun at halfway on the map
- Planet Size (Large, Normal, Small; Large creates more large planets, normal doesn't change anything, small creates more small planets)
The mapsize, age, etc would be normal (are these even in the mapscripts?). Also, resources would spawn as they normally do.
